As a qualified therapist with 25+ years experience I have had the privilege of witnessing people grow and attain a more fulfilling life. Psychotherapy is a collaborative endeavor in which you should feel heard, understood and respected. When you work with me you can expect a warm and accepting environment in which your most personal thoughts, feelings and concerns can be shared.
In-depth training informs my individualized approach to each person's unique situation. Together we can figure out how to best understand and work with the obstacles you experience so that you may attain greater gratification and vitality in your life. I work with adults, couples, children and their families, and teenagers.
As a licensed psychologist, I have a private practice, supervise and teach. Currently I supervise psychology students at University of Detroit Mercy, Madonna University, and psychiatric residents at Wayne State Medical School. In addition, I am co-chair of the Curriculum Committee, and Associate Faculty at the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute.
If you're looking for help with a challenging situation or relationship, or seek to move in a new direction in your life, I am ready to work with you.
